A lot of the fun in collecting comes from the hunt of finding records in your local stores at bargain prices. It’s cool to find old releases going for next to nothing- but sometimes that just isn’t realistic. Kent records are like that. Kent is one of my favorite bands and definitely my favorite non-metal band and seeing one of their older records on eBay going for a lot of money should be considered lucky.
After realizing Kent albums were pressed on vinyl by RCA/BMG of Sweden it took me about 2 years to even see someone selling some. They actually had 4 albums available, Hagnesta Hill, Vapen och Ammunition, Verkligen and Isola. I obviously wanted them all and put my best bid forward but the legion of die-hard Kent fans was too much for me. I ended up with only Isola but it’s still a victory. This is from 1995 on RCA/BMG of Sweden and is limited to 500 copies on black vinyl.

There really isn’t too much that sounds better on vinyl than 747 & Bianca.
